Funeral Service Licensee

Kyger Funeral Home, founded in 1975, is an independently owned and operated firm with a crematory and two locations, serving the diversely growing population of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas. With a long-standing reputation for professionalism and compassion, Kyger Funeral Home has been recognized by the Virginia Living Magazine, OGR and Best of the Valley. We are the first funeral home in Virginia to be certified by the Green Burial Council and proud to have opened the first GBC certified natural cemetery in Virginia, Duck Run Natural Cemetery.
We are seeking an experienced funeral service licensee, who would be involved in all aspects of funeral service. This may include embalming and preparation work, at-need and pre-need arrangements, on-call schedule, removals, and any other delegated or shared responsibilities. Our generational approach to serving families is made possible with our modern locations and supportive staff.
